## How to use the SIMEFF Expense Tracker

### Tab 1: `01_Expenses_2026` (Your Weekly Ledger)

- **Log Weekly Transactions:** Every Friday, record transaction dates, vendor names, amounts, and payment methods.
- **Select Tax Categories:** Use the built-in dropdown menu to assign one of the standard tax categories.
- **Track Receipts:** Use the column F to confirm whether digital receipts have been moved to your cloud folder (`Receipts/[Year]/[Month]`).
- **View Dynamic Dashboard:** Instantly calculate your Year-To-Date (YTD) spending by category using automated formals - no pivot table refreshes required.
